Honor victims and survivors of gun violence by wearing orange today, National Gun Violence Awareness Day, and encouraging others to do the same with the #WearOrange hashtag.
Nearly every day in America, a child gains access to a loaded gun and unintentionally shoots themself or someone else- an average of 350 children a year.
In 25 states, it's legal for people convicted of violent misdemeanor hate crimes to buy and own guns.
Every single day, hundreds of people in America have loved ones stolen from them by senseless, preventable gun violence. On top of the more than 120 people killed with guns each day, more than 200 people are shot and wounded.
