Stacia Farrar is a fashion designer and educator based in Chicago, bringing 15 years of industry experience from New York City to her teaching practice. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Fashion Design in 2006 and has built a career spanning dress design and merchandising for major department stores, including Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, and Dillard’s. Stacia currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Fashion Studies and teaches students of all ages through both higher education and online learning platforms Outschool and Fashion Studies by Stacia. Through her courses, she is passionate about making professional design knowledge accessible, engaging, and inspiring for the next generation of creatives.
